The following is a list of the proposed one-character codes for the time & score column in advanced gameplans. A blank in the column would mean "any".
Multiple selections would mean the situation applies in either/any of the conditions (eg. "12" means "1 or 2", which is to say all through the 1st and 2nd quarters). It's tempting to have two columns, so that conditions could be applied together (eg. "34" and "R" to mean if it's the second half with good running stats). Or maybe the stats-based parameters should have time/score conditions as a matter of course. The set numbers of rushing yards, passing yards, and sacks might be fixed values, or values set by the coaches, either totals or per-quarter, or per-play or some combination of those. For the score elements we need to decide (or let the coaches decide) whether a touchdown lead is 7 points or 8 points. For leads of more than two scores I don't think we really care, although maybe if you're down by a touchdown and a field goal there's an argument for sometimes being conservative and accepting to the three points.
